A child has been rushed to hospital after falling out of a second-storey window in Chafford Hundred this morning (July 28). The incident happened on Grenville Road where emergency services were called following reports of the child's fall.
East of England Ambulance Service, Essex Police, and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance attended the scene. An air ambulance was spotted near Harris Academy School to assist other medical services.
The child was assessed at the scene and no immediate apparent injuries were found. They were transported via an ambulance vehicle to Royal London Hospital for further treatment.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “An ambulance, two rapid response vehicles and the air ambulance attended reports that a child had fallen from a second-storey window at an address in Grenville Road, Chafford Hundred, Grays, earlier today.
"The child was assessed at the scene and had no immediately apparent injuries, and was transported by road to the Royal London Hospital, for further assessment and care.”
